From the City Centre, V&A Waterfront or Northern Suburbs
Take the N1 and then take Stellenbosch off-ramp (R304), just after the N1 garage. Follow road for approximately 15 km into Stellenbosch. Turn left onto R44, at Adam Tas and Bird Street traffic lights. Then turn right at next set of traffic lights onto Helshoogte Road (R310). Follow the road and continue across next set of traffic lights (Helshoogte Road and Cluver Street). You are now on the Helshoogte Pass. Continue to drive for another 6km, past Delaire on your right and Tokara on your left. We are situated on the left hand side, as the pass starts to descend.
From the Southern Suburbs or Cape Town International Airport
Take N2 and then take Stellenbosch (R310) / Baden Powell Road off-ramp. Follow the road, past Spier Wine Estate until you come to a T-junction. Then turn right towards Stellenbosch and follow road past Distel. Continue driving past the Stellenbosch station and remain the left hand lane. Keep left at the fork and at the 2nd set of traffic lights (Merriman Street), turn right. Continue up Merriman Street until you reach a traffic circle, turn left at traffic circle into Cluver Road. Continue to next set of traffic lights and turn right onto Helshoogte Pass, keep driving for 6km past Delaire on your right and Tokara on your left. We are situated on the left hand side, as the pass starts to descend.
From Somerset West / Strand Area
Take R44 (Strand Road) and travel past the Lord Charles Hotel towards Stellenbosch. Keep going straight past Strand Street and Dorp Street intersection. Then turn right into Merriman Lane (3rd set of traffic lights from above intersection). Continue up Merriman Street until you reach a traffic circle, turn left at traffic circle into Cluver Road. Continue to next set of traffic lights and turn right onto Helshoogte Pass, keep driving for 6km past Delaire on your right and Tokara on your left. We are situated on the left hand side, as the pass starts to descend.
From Paarl
Take R45 (past Paarl Nursery) towards Franschhoek. Turn right onto the R310 (past Boschendal and through Pniel) and continue driving for 7km. We are situated on the right hand side. |
