The house of Vine Villa B&B is the original farmstead that was built in May 1890 and was owned by the family of Gouws. The farm is currently owned by Lily-Ann Peters. The farm house offers three fully equipped bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, televisions, fridges and refreshment facilities.
The farm Vine Villa is situated at the foot of what is locally known as "Leeukop", with a hiking trail to the crest from where you have the most spectacular view of the countryside and the majestic Maluti Mountains in Lesotho. The farm consists of 615 hectares of scenic land.
Delicious breakfasts are served to the guests in the main house where they have a choice of using the sun room, dining room or the verandah which overlook the farm and the Maluti Mountains to the south. In summer, guests can enjoy their breakfast under the old oak trees in front of the guest rooms. Marquard is known for its cold winters and we can offer also breakfast in the main kitchen in the warmth created by an anthracite stove which burns throughout winter. Dinner is also served by prior arrangement.
