From OR Tambo (Johannesburg) International Airport
Take the R21 in direction of Boksburg. Then change over to the N12 direction to Witbank and Middelburg (visit the Ndebele village in Botshabelo approx. 20km outside of Middelburg on the N11). The N12 changes automatically over to N4. From the N4 you take the turnoff left to Belfast onto the R540 in direction of Dullstroom (coffee break) & Lydenburg. In Lydenburg take the R37 via Long Tom Pass to Sabie. At the first stop street in Sabie turn right into Louis Trichardt Street and after 30m to your right you will see Villa Ticino.
From Kruger Mpumalanga Airport
Drive towards Plaston and White River on the R538 and then follow the R40 through White River to Nelspruit and then turn right into the R537 to Sabie at the big intersection. Follow the road until the T-junction and turn left into Sabie. At the first stop street in Sabie turn left again into Louis Trichardt Street where you will see Villa Ticino on the left hand side.
From Nelspruit and Long Tom Pass
At the first stop street in Sabie turn right into Louis Trichardt Street (signposted). After 30m you see Villa Ticino to your right side.
From Hazyview and White River
Drive into Sabie and at the first stop street turn to your left into Louis Trichardt Street (signposted). After a few meters to your left is Villa Ticino.
From Pilgrim's Rest and Graskop
Drive straight through Sabie on the Main Road. After the post-office at the next stop street turn right into Louis Trichardt Street (signposted).
360km or 4 hours comfortable and scenic drive from Johannesburg International Airport or one hours drive from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) you will reach the picturesque, centrally situated, malaria free mountain village of Sabie.

Please do not forget to change money at the airport or get South African Rands from the ATM machine at the airport as you have to pay toll gate fees in cash - they do not accept foreign credit cards. |
