Villa de Mer is one of two guest houses located right on the beachfront in Port Alfred. This modern home has five spacious en-suite rooms, with all the comforts of home, including complimentary tea and coffee facilities, bar fridges, satellite television, underfloor heating, hairdryers and safes. We also supply dressing gowns and beach towels. The honeymoon suite has a 180 degree view of the Indian Ocean and during the spring you can catch glimpses of dolphins and whales frolicking in the surf. The two guest lounges - one upstairs with spectacular views and comfy couches is the perfect hideaway, whilst the other downstairs leads onto the swimming pool and private courtyard.

As nothing is far in Port Alfred, the location of the villa is convenient, as situated you are away from the hustle and bustle of town, but in actual fact only a mere ten minutes away from the town centre. As for dining in Port Alfred, we will gladly recommend various restaurants or we can prepare dinner for you on request. Safe, secure parking is also available.

On our doorstep we have Kariega Game Reserve, where you can view the big five or you can visit Nyala Valley for game and bird viewing. For golf enthusiasts Port Alfred offers one of the four Royal Golf Courses. Other activities available in Kowie are, river cruises, deep sea cruises, fishing, diving, hiking, horse riding and in actual fact anything your heart desires. Situated on the R72 midway between Port Elizabeth and East London, Port Alfred is the perfect holiday destination on the Sunshine Coast. Airport transfers can be arranged.
