DESCRIPTION:
 
Verblyden Guesthouse is a lovely big manor house, situated just north of Kroonstad, in the heart of the Northern Free State mealie route. The house has 6 comfortable rooms, each individually decorated. There are large sitting rooms for relaxing in the evenings, as well as outdoor braai (barbecue) facilities. Enjoy typical South African meals in the dining room with its lovely fireplaces for a cosy atmosphere in winter.

The guest house offers you relaxation next to the swimming pool and around the snooker table. The farm is a paradise for the bird watchers. Horse riding, fishing and farming activities can be enjoyed. There is an old quarry for 4x4 enthusiasts and quad bikes are welcome. The guest house also has conference facilities and we cater for functions.

This establishment is conveniently situated next to the N1 highway on the Kroonvaal route, only 30km north of Kroonstad and 150km from Johannesburg.

DIRECTIONS:
 
From Kroonstad travel for 30km north on N1, take Heuningspruit / Fraaiuitzig off-ramp to the left. Turn right and drive for about 200m. Then turn right again on a gravel road and drive for 4km, until you reach the guest house which is situated on the left hand side.
