However, the real charm of this subtropical paradise lies in the natural beauty of the lush vegetation and three open nature spots that are free to enjoy. From Skyline Nature Reserve and the Ivongo River Reserve to the rocks in front of Uvongo Cabanas, you can marvel at mischievous dolphins, whales, a myriad of sea and birdlife, and buck walking freely inside the nature reserves.
The units at Uvongo Cabanas that we offer are all well equipped, with some with air-conditioners, washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, stoves, microwaves, fridge / freezers, DSTV decoders (just bring own smart card), linen, dish cloths, hangers, and most of the kitchen utensils and crockery that you will need during your stay. The Uvongo Cabanas is a mere 100 meters away from the main swimming beach of Uvongo, but directly across the incredible Indian Ocean. At the beach is a picturesque lagoon that stretches back from the beach to a beautiful 23 meter drop waterfall. We are also only 5km away from Margate that hosts many activities in season, such as Mardi Gras and entertainment for the whole family, and only 5km away from the shopping malls in Shelly Beach. |
