The décor is a subtle combination of honeyed Spanish marble, warm textured carpets, African mahogany furniture and crushed linen curtains complemented by the contemporary artwork of Alexander Krenz.

Some rooms have Zen-like sliding screens so that views of the city, Table Mountain, Lion's Head or Signal Hill can also be appreciated from the comfort of one's bath.

From Cape Town International Airport

Take the Exit from the airport to Cape Town along the N2 highway. Proceed along the N2 until you reach the sign “M4 Cape Town”. Continue with the M4 to the Strand Street turn-off (keep left). Proceed on Strand Street, passing 5 sets of traffic lights.

Turn left into Long Street (at the 6th set of traffic lights). Continue up Long Street (passing Wale Street) - The Urban Chic Boutique Hotel will be on the right hand side at umber 172 Long Street - on the corner of Long and Pepper Streets.
