Just 2 hours from Durban and 6 hours from Johannesburg in the foothills of the Ukhahlamba Drakensberg Park World Heritage Site, lies a wonderful family holiday getaway. All our fully equipped self catering units are situated just meters from the river bank with stunning views. They all come with log fires and individual braai (barbecue) facilities. A complimentary bundle of firewood is supplied on arrival and additional firewood available to purchase thereafter. All the linen / bedding is provided.

Fishermen enjoy the unrivalled opportunities to catch rainbow trout along our 2.5km stretch of the Umzimkulu River. Should the river conditions be unfavorable, there are several trophy dams nearby open to guests and additional water to hire from the local club. Families love it for the unhurried old world country atmosphere with days spent picnicking under the huge oaks on the river island, bolder hopping in thrombosis gorge and exploring all this adventure playground has to offer.
