The BBC and National Geographic have visited Madikwe on several occasions to capture the impressive wildlife, especially the wild dogs that have firmly placed Madikwe on the tourism map. The Reserve is is a mere 3 ½ hours drive from Johannesburg, and has its own airstrip for those that wish to experience an exhilarating fly-in safari.
