The Troll and Tulip B&B is situated midway between the Durban International Airport and the city centre in the urban suburb of Umbilo / Glenmore / Carrington Heights. It is the perfect place to stay when you are in Durban, whether you are there on holiday, or on a business trip. The beachfront is just a short drive away from the bed and breakfast.
The Troll and Tulip offers four en-suite twin rooms, with all the luxuries one would expect from a top class bed and breakfast. All the rooms have a TV, air-conditioning, a small fridge, a ceiling fan and tea / coffee making facilities. Each room has its own private entrance with access to the swimming pool, terrace and braai (barbecue) area. Safe, secure parking is provided for the guests.

Take the Westville M32 St James Avenue / Spine Road off-ramp (third off ramp after the toll gate). Turn right at the traffic lights (back over the freeway). Follow Spine Road (the Pavilion will be on the left) past the hospital and keep going (past the sports fields on left) until you get to the traffic lights with Steers / Debonairs on the right and the varsity on the left (about 6km from the Pavillion). Turn right at these traffic lights into Queen Mary Avenue.
Go around the bend and turn right into Feilden Drive. Then turn left into Prospect Road (second road past the cemetery). Take the first right into Brettonwood Avenue. The Troll and Tulip is about 200m down the road on the left, situated at No. 76. Drive up the driveway and park on the grass opposite the garages.
