An "outdoor living" approach, coupled with uncomplicated designs and natural tones, creates a relaxed atmosphere where you can really put your feet up, taking in the sounds of the valley. Our spacious guest suites make maximum use of natural light, with large sliding doors opening onto the gardens. We have 7 suites with separate lounges, and 3 suites without lounges, one of which has a built-in baby sitting area that transforms into a double bed (suitable as family unit). Each suite features a queen size bed, safe and clock radio, a separate living area featuring a sleeper couch, with a home entertainment system (TV / DVD / surround sound), overhead fan, fridge / mini bar with complimentary tea / coffee making facilities, and a private bathroom.

Guests are welcome to make use of our mini video library, either in their room, or in our mini cinema, at no charge. Suites are serviced daily and laundry and babysitting services are available. Full English gourmet breakfasts, light lunches and exquisite three course dinners are served in the dining room or, weather permitting, al fresco. Our spa offers a range of health treatments for men and women, designed to de-stress and rejuvenate. To experience absolute bliss, combine one of our massage treatments with a sauna or jacuzzi soak.

The thatched poolside bar is the heart of the lodge and the ideal way to end the day. Enjoy a game of pool, darts, table tennis or Nintendo WII, or catch your favourite sport on the big screen. Relax in the hammock with a drink, or soak up the sun on a lilo in the pool. For something a little quieter, settle down to a good read in the winter lounge, absorbing the warmth of the fireplace during the colder months. Other activities available at the lodge and in the surrounding area include badminton, nature walks, bird watching, horse riding, quad / mountain biking, airstrip for flying model aircrafts, river and dam fishing and boat outings on the Nahoon Dam. We are situated close to Hemingways Casino, East Coast resorts and the Wild Coast with its beautiful beaches.
