Situated in the heart of the historical and beautiful De Waterkant Village, The Village Lodge provides all guests with a warm, friendly welcoming and phenomenal service with the greatest pleasure from its entire staff.

The Village Lodge is an intimate luxury boutique hotel which offers comfortable accommodation in 15 luxurious rooms. The hotel boats a spacious rooftop terrace with a swimming pool and sun lounger area. The views experienced from our roof are breathtaking and are part of what it is, that makes us one of the most fabulous smaller hotels in Cape Town.

Also part of The Village Lodge is the Soho Restaurant, a modern Thai fusion restaurant with a contemporary "London" feel. The Salsa Restaurant is vibrant Latino establishment, set to leave its mark on the map of places to eat. Joining The Village Lodge family is the "Friendly Society", our trendy cocktail and tequila bar, offering live entertainment to all our guests. Here, you are bound to find somebody sitting behind a baby grand piano, as you sip away on your Mojjito.

From Cape International Airport

It will take you approximately 30 minutes to drive from the airport to the lodge. Take the N2 highway and follow signs for Cape Town. After traveling for 18km follow the M6 to V&A Waterfront and CTICC. The M6 highway runs between the harbour and Cape Town city. At the 1st set of traffic lights go straight across, CTICC (Cape Town International Conference Centre) will be on your left and V&A Waterfront is signposted to the right.

You are now traveling on Buitengracht Street. Drive until you reach the 2nd set of traffic lights go straight across, Sea Point is signposted to the right, get into right hand lane. At the 3rd set of traffic lights turn right into Somerset Road and keep on driving straight passing BP garage on your right hand side. Then take the next left into Napier Street - the "Bronx Bar" is situated on the corner. Drive up Napier Street and 100m further on the left hand side is our main guest house The Village Lodge and the Soho Restaurant.
