As a close three generation family working in partnership we have attempted to bring the true essence of these relationships to life in The Victorian 1906 Hotel by bringing back to life the architecture.
The Victorian 1906 Hotel is an original Victorian building, erected in 1900's at the quieter end of Bath Street, the main business street of Montagu. Totally renovated in 2007, it now has 9 guest suites, a superb restaurant seating 40 guests, a trendy sidewalk cafe, popular with the locals and travellers alike as well as a cosy wine bar offering many local wines and drinks. A small courtyard with a plunge pool is available for hotel guests.
We also offer the perfect venue for a fairytale wedding. A unique rural atmosphere distinguishes the town of Montagu as one of best preserved late Victorian villages in the Cape. |
