Situated at the begining of the wine and Garden routes; 20 minutes drive from Cape Town City Centre; only 10 minutes from the Kirstenbosch Gardens; and 1km to the beach and centre of Hout Bay.
Thandekayo meaning "warm welcome" to our home, is a luxury 4 star guest house. Thirst for light, open space and modernity in combination with an African feeling, is what you feel when you enter the Guest House or one of the 6 individually designed rooms each with their own private deck / terrence. The Thandekayo lounge leads out on to the large balcony. The view from here stretches from Chapmans' Peak to the Back of Table Mountain. Overlook the Bay of Hout Bay, the beautifully landscaped garden or relax on one of the deckchairs at the secluded pool (heated) area. The house displays a modest collection of contemporary art. A full or continental breakfast is served in the Thandekayo breakfast area. Or enjoy your breakfast on the large balcony while watching the sun rise from behind the Mountains.

From Cape Town International Airport you go on to the N2 in the direction of Cape Town.
You have to take the exit onto the M3, direction Rondebosch / Claremont.
From the M3 you go right onto the M63 to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and Hout Bay.
You keep onto the M63 into Hout Bay, and at the traffic circle you turn right into Victoria Road, next road again right,
Valley Road, then first left into Lentedal and first right is Luisa Way. We are number 14 on your left-hand side.
From Cape Town
From Cape Town tarvel in the direction of Landudno / Hout Bay on the M6.
And just before the first traffic lights in Hout Bay you turn left into Victoria Road, first left into Valley Road,
again first left into Lentedal and first right is Luisa Way. We are number 14 on your left-hand side.
