Tendele B&B is built into the coastal forest of the dunes overlooking the scenic beauty of the wetlands in the Wilderness National Park. Sunrise creates stunning views of Island Lake. The only sound to wake you is bird song. Enjoy the peace and tranquillity while relaxing in the well appointed rooms. Take a break with sundowners on the deck watching the sunset over the mountains. With only three rooms you are assured of personal attention and not getting lost in a crowd. A scrumptious breakfast is served in the sun room on the top floor, so that you can enjoy the beautiful views, do a bit of bird watching or get an update of activities in the area.

Your hosts, Inez and Norman are keen birders and have a good knowledge of the area and fauna and flora. This is a bird watchers paradise. Our bird list is over 70 species long as seen from the house and in the garden. Our spectacular beaches are within easy reach if sun and sand is your desire and we have the knowledge to send you to special beaches known to the locals. Hidden in the garden is our splash pool. Perhaps you need a refreshing dip to cool off after a long drive or just relaxing with all the jets massaging your muscles.

With easy access to the N2, you are centrally situated to enjoy all the wonders of the Garden Route. If the weather is unpleasant go over the mountain to Oudshoorn, explore the caves or do the scenic drives over one of the numerous mountain passes. Rather than packing and unpacking settle in for a longer stay and do day trips, we can advise you or even take you on a guided trip.
