Do you need to break away from all the daily hassles? Then Tau Roara Lodge is the ideal place for you. "Tau Roara" is a Tswana word, meaning "place where the lion roars". Between the maize fields of the North West Province you will find tranquility and peace at Tau Roara Lodge.
The lodge offers 3 spacious self catering chalets and camping / caravanning facilities. The facilities available at the lodge include communal DSTV, pool table, swimming pool, trampoline, swings for the children and a golf course. Here you can be at ease, find real time for yourself and your loved ones and just enjoy nature at its best. While night falls you can appreciate the serenity of the countryside and the roaring of the mighty lions that are situated close by.
Experience our lovely clear skies while you linger around the open fire at our "boma braai (barbecue)". Guests are welcome to bring along their telescopes for star gazing. It is our privilege to show you our lions and tell you more about the "king of the jungle". To cuddle the cubs is a once in a lifetime experience.
