Tamakwa Country Lodge is situated in the village of Rosetta, in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands Meander Arts and Craft route with dramatic views of the Drakensberg Mountains. The Mooi River meanders along the boundary encouraging a variety of bird and wildlife.

This 4 star graded guest house offers stylish accommodation. Wendy is known for her excellent service and personal touches, from the fresh flowers in the rooms, goodie boxes for emergencies and the sherry that one can enjoy around the fireplace on a cold winters night!

Accommodation at the lodge consists of 3 spacious cottages, namely the Burberry Cottage, Lavender Cottage, and the Bergview Cottage. The Burberry Cottage is a quaint little thatched cottage that sleeps 2 with a four poster bed. The Lavender Cottage has 2 spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, ideal for couples sharing or a family with children. The Bergview Cottage is the biggest cottage, and is suitable for 4 to 6 people. In addition, the farmhouse provides four elegant suites, two bed & breakfast and two self catering. Each unit is uniquely decorated and presents stylish and comfortable country living at its best.
