Sunset is a small exclusive, luxury game lodge situated in the game rich area of the Limpopo province, only forty minutes from the Orpen gate of the Kruger National Park. The lodge comprises of six beautifully appointed en-suite double rooms, all opening on to the cool sparkling pool in the central courtyard. Each luxurious room has been decorated with exceptional artistic flair.
Enjoy a sundowner in our bar or on our deck high above the bushveld. Enjoy the spectacular view on the Drakensberg Mountains and the beautiful sunset, all the while keeping an eye on the waterhole below. After dark at Sunset Game Lodge enjoy dinner on the deck, in the boma or in our cosy dining room, depending on the weather. The food at sunset is wholesome and combines the traditional South African with the international kitchen. We take care of dietary issues.
Full Day Kruger Park Tours, Bush Drives with sun downer at an open camp fire in the bush and tours along the Panorama Route are provided with our own open Safari vehicle. Morning and afternoon bush walks and all tours are guided by our certified tour guide who is fluent in English and German.
Big Five Game drives can be arranged. Other interesting activities include visits to the Cheetah Breeding Project, the Moholoholo Bird and Animal Rehabilitation Centre, cruises on the Blyde Dam, white water rafting, elephant back safaris and ballooning.
The Sunset Team also assists you with your tour plans and works out individual quotations that are most convenient for you during your stay at Sunset Game Lodge. Transfers from the airports can also be arranged and will be quoted on request.
