The most relaxed and casual of all Sun City's hotels, the Sun City Cabanas opens onto lush gardens leading down to the lake and Waterworld. Sun City Cabanas forms part of the Sun City Resort. The Sun City Resort is set in the stark ruggedness of the North West Region of South Africa, and is surrounded by mountains and the untamed majesty of the African bushveld. It is a wedge-shot away from the Pilanesberg National Park, where elephants, rhinos, lions and antelope roam freely.
The Sun City Cabanas has a total of 380 rooms. The Sun City Cabanas are built on two levels with rooms on the ground floor and first floors. The rooms are located in seven "blocks" situated around the main reception and restaurant area. Guests can choose their accommodation type to suit their needs. The Standard Cabanas are all air-conditioned with TV and radio and a shower en-suite, whilst the family cabanas are larger, accommodating four people with a full bathroom. Both accommodations are decorated in fresh and relaxing themes and provide all the necessary comforts.
The Cabana's pools are an ideal place to relax and are suitable for the whole family, with a shallow paddling pool next to the main pool. The extensive gardens and lawns provide children with plenty of space to run around, leaving you time to soak up the sun. Children's entertainment areas are in close proximity to Cabanas. Parents can relax and enjoy the facilities at Sun City, confident in the knowledge that their children are being professionally looked after and entertained! The Cabanas also has easy access to two of the worlds best 18 hole golf courses as well as the Lost City Valley of Waves. The Sun City Lake, better known as Sun City Waterworld, offers a full range of water sports, including pedalos, wake snake and rubber ducks. You are never short of things to do!

Turn left on the R512 to Magaliesburg. Drive for 9.4km further on, turn right (R512) towards Brits. Cross the railway line and onto the bridge over Hartbeespoort Dam. At the T-junction turn right (R512) to Brits. Travel to a major four-way stop. Turn left towards Brits and Rustenburg. Pass the first turn-off to Brits.
Travel straight on, pass the Tropical Gardens on the right hand side. Then you will pass the R27 on the right and the sign board for "Sun City - 89km". Travel straight on for approximately 20km to reach sign board then turn right, cross the highway for a direct route to Sun City (79km).
