Close to attractions such as the beaches of Kenton-on-Sea, Kasouga and Port Alfred, A Stone's Throw is not far from the Great Fish River Game Reserves as well as Addo Elephant Park. Whether you are staying in the log cabin or a private rondavel, A Stone's Throw’s welcoming ambience ensures you a memorable stay. Wake up to spectacular views and enjoy breakfast in bed or on the lapa deck. Enjoy sunsets and watching varied birdlife. At A Stone's Throw you can experience true Eastern Cape hospitality, thanks to its warm atmosphere.

Cabins: This is special. Our cabins are set in the thorn-tree gardens and provides accommodation for up to four sharing, ideal for families and groups. Accommodation consists of a main en-suite room with a twin loft room (double volume), open plan and equipped with basic kitchenette (microwave / fridge / toaster) which opens onto a lovely wooden deck overlooking an expansive view.

Rondavel: Tucked away on our hillside this cosy, sunny, private rondavel has spectacular views, kingbed en-suite room with great ambience, adjacent to a self-catering open plan kitchenette.

Family Room: Opening onto a spacious garden setting with gorgeous view our family room is ideally set up to cater for mom, dad and the kids, with twin beds and a double bunk as well as being adjacent to a central self-catering open plan kitchenette. It is great place to unwind and let the children enjoy the spacious country setting.

Scrumptious home cooked breakfasts are served on butlers trays or weather permitting on our lapa deck next to the pool to start your day in a sociable way.

Travel on the N2 away from Port Elizabeth going towards King William's Town. When you get to Grahamstown carry on straight for approximately 1km to the Route 67 Port Alfred Road bypass. Turn right into the R67 Port Alfred Route (left goes towards George Street) and we are situated 2.2km along the road on the right hand side - you will see a suburb sign marking "Stones Hill" and a 60km speed limit sign, 100 metres along on the right hand side - a green and white reflective sign post with "A Stone's Throw B&B" and aloe emblem marks the spot. Please call in at the main house first along the main driveway.
