Stay-A-While Guest House is situated in "The Avenues" in the quiet residential suburb of Edenvale with lush garden surroundings, private covered patios alongside the rooms and pool with private courtyard gardens. The gardens have prolific birdlife because of the indigenous trees and nests.
The guest house is located 10km from Johannesburg International Airport, 8km from Eastgate Shopping Mall. Close access to Gold Reef City, Monte Casino, Carnival City Casino and Emperors Palace Casino. There are eight suites set in secure gardens with off-street parking, large swimming pool and braai (barbecue) facilities.
All suites have DSTV, clock radios and en-suite bathrooms with showers and / or baths with private access. Self serve continental breakfast is optional. All suites have self catering kitchenettes with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery. Fax, internet and wireless hotspot facilities are also onsite. Courtesy tray with coffee, tea, sugar and creamers in each suite.
We also provide airport transfers, onsite tour operator and travel agency. Great spot for those few days to orientate or unwind yourself when you arrive or leave South Africa.

For confirmation of bookings and payment: For a stay of 3 (three) nights or less it is required that 1 (one) nights accommodation as a deposit. For any stay of 4 (four) nights or more it is required that a 50% deposit of the total accommodation cost is due and with the balance due on or before check-in.
Cancellation Policy
Cancelled after check-in, forfeit the total accommodation cost.
Cancelled less than 7 days prior to the reserved date, forfeit the full deposit / or payment.
Within 7 to 14 days prior to the reserved date, forfeit 75% of the deposit.
Within 14 to 21 days prior to the reserved date, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
Within 21 to 28 days prior to the reserved date, forfeit 25% of the deposit.

From OR Tambo (Johannesburg) International Airport
On leaving Johannesburg International Airport, travel in direction of Johannesburg City. Ignore the first off-ramp (which is sign posted Barbara Road) and take the exit on the second off-ramp, marked for Edenvale Road. At the traffic lights turn right (over the highway) and proceed straight for about 2.9km passing through the town centre of Edenvale. This will become Van Riebeeck Avenue, you will pass The Duneden Hotel (opposite the hotel is a replica of a dutch windmill called De Bakery). Proceed down Van Riebeeck Avenue until you reach McDonalds and then turn left. You will cross all the Avenues in descending order marked, Seventh Avenue, Sixth Avenue, Fifth Avenue right down to First Avenue. Turn right into First Avenue and we are at No.113 First Avenue, Edenvale (between De Wet Street and Ninth Street). These directions should be followed if you are coming either from Pretoria on the Kempton Park highway and also if you are coming on the N4 from Witbank / Nelspruit.
From the N3 Highway (traveling from North to the South)
If you come from Randburg (N1 North) or from Pretoria and you are traveling in the direction of Johannesburg (on the Ben Schoeman highway / N1 South). The N1 will intersect with the M1 highway to Johannesburg City Centre and the N3 South marked Germiston / Heidelburg / Durban. This intersection is known as the Buccleuchleuch Interchange - you will proceed in southerly direction from the Buccleuch Interchange on the N3. There are a number of off-ramps on the N3 South marked as follows, in sequence:
1st Intersection - Marlboro Drive - Ignore
2nd Intersection - London Road - Ignore
3rd Intersection - Edenvale / Kempton Park / Modderfontein / Longmeadow Business Park - Ignore
4th Intersection - Johannesburg / Lombardy / Sandringham - Ignore
5th Intersection - Linksfield Road - Take this interchange
At the traffic lights turn left in an easterly direction (towards the airport) and travel for about approx 2.5km until you pass Edenvale High School. The very next set of traffic lights are at First Avenue (which has a Sasol petrol station on the left).Turn left at those lights into First Avenue and travel about 1.5km approx to Stay-A-While Guest House which is at No.113 First Avenue, Edenvale.
From the N3 Highway (traveling from South to the North)
If coming on the N1 from Bloemfontein take the N12 towards Witbank. This N12 route will connect you with the N3 - North. If you come from south which is on the N3 from Durban / Alberton / Germiston behind you or the M2 West highway you will go over the hill in the Primrose Germiston area as you approach Bedfordview from a southerly direction. The first off-ramp you come to will be Van Buuren Road - Ignore. The next intersection is Gilloolys Interchange which splits for Johannesburg / Eastgate and for Airport - Ignore all offered splits. Stay on the N3 North (marked Pretoria) the very next off-ramp on the N3 is Linksfield Road, take this exit. When you come to the traffic lights at the end of the off-ramp turn left and proceed over the bridge which crosses the highway. Travel in the direction of the airport (easterly) and travel for about approx 2.5 km until you pass Edenvale High School. The very next set of traffic lights are at First Avenue (which has a Sasol petrol station on the left).Turn left at those lights into First Avenue and travel about 1.5km approx to Stay-A-While Guest House which is at No.113 First Avenue, Edenvale (Between De Wet and Ninth Streets).
