Sonnedroom is a 3 star, self catering lodge and day spa (on request) situated near a beautiful mountain and river. There are three self catering thatch roofed chalets situated on the premises. These neat, spacious and re-done chalets can accommodate up to 14 guests. There is a range of 300 different trees in a radius of 200m around the chalets and a variety of birds and small game can be found in the surrounding vicinity.
The braai (barbecue) area is unique and the atmosphere created around the blazing fire takes you into the heart of the bushveld. There are three short walking trials, and many other facilities including a golf driving range, pool table, table tennis, dartboard, bicycles, jacuzzi and a swimming pool for the guests to enjoy! You can also be spoiled with an African massage (hand, feet, full body and hot stone) which is available on request. Sonnedroom Lodge is an unforgettable experience you don't want to miss!

From the N1 highway going to Polokwane, take the Bela-Bela off-ramp. At the T-junction you will see O’Hagans, turn right over the bridge. Take the left slip way at the next stop street into Chris Hani Road and pass the Warmbaths Forever Resort. Go left at the circle onto the Thabazimbi road.
After you have passed Mbizi and Engweni Lodge, keep going straight until you see the Nyl Stene sign on the left hand side. At the Saamwerk shop, where the road makes a turn, turn right towards the mountain onto the gravel road at the first Sonnedroom sign. Turn right onto the gravel road at the second Sonnedroom sign. Keep going up to the mountain and Sonnedroom Lodge is the last property on the right before the road turns to the left.
