Chalet 1,2,3,4 (5 sleepers) R1320 per unit per night. First bedroom has a double bed with en-suite shower and toilet, the second bedroom has 3 single beds with en-suite shower, bath and toilet. Bedding and bathtowels provided. Kitchen has a stove, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, cutlery and crockery. Dishcloths and dishwashing liquid provided. Tv with Mnet, MM1, MM2, Sabc 1,2,3, Etv, SS1, SS2. Inside and outside braai. Outside furniture provided.

Chalet 5 (2+2 sleeper) R715 per unit per night. Bedroom has a double bed and en-suite shower and toilet. Double sleeper couch in the kitchen area for children 12 years and younger. Bedding and bathtowels provided. Please pack in extra swimming towels as the bath towels are not allowed for swimming. Kitchen has a stove, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, cutlery and crockery. Dishcloths and dishwashing liquid provided. Tv with Mnet, MM1, MM2, Sabc 1,2,3, Etv, SS1, SS2. Inside and outside braai. Outside furniture provided.

Opstal flat (4 sleeper) R1320 per unit per night. First bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. Shower only, no bath. Bedding and bathtowels provided. Please pack in extra swimming towels as the bath towels are not allowed for swimming. Kitchen has a stove, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, cutlery and crockery. Dishcloths and dishwashing liquid provided. Lounge area with tv with Mnet, MM1, MM2, Sabc 1,2,3, Etv, SS1, SS2. Inside and outside braai. Outside furniture provided.

Safari tent 1,2,3,4 (2 sleepers) R520 per unit per night. One living area with two single beds and kitchen corner. En-suite shower and toilet. Bedding and bathtowels provided. Please pack in extra swimming towels as the bath towels are not allowed for swimming. Kitchen corner has an electric frying pan, barfridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, cutlery and crockery. Dishcloths and dishwashing liquid provided. No television. There is a tv at the pool for the kids. Outside chairs and braai area. We have weddings in the chapel near the tents some Saterdays, please be considerate.

Safari tent 5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13 (2+2 sleepers) R660 per unit per night. One living area with two single beds, double sleeper couch for kids 12 years and younger and kitchen corner. En-suite shower and toilet. Bedding and bathtowels provided for people using the single beds only. Please pack in extra swimming towels as the bath towels are not allowed for swimming. Kitchen corner has an electric frying pan, barfridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, cutlery and crockery. Dishcloths and dishwashing liquid provided. No television. There is a tv at the pool for the kids. Outside chairs and braai area. We have weddings in the chapel near the tents some Saterdays, please be considerate.

Double Room R335 per person per night. Bedroom with double bed and en-suite shower and toilet. Bedding and towels provided. Please pack in extra swimming towels as the bath towels are not allowed for swimming. Small fridge and kettle with mugs for coffee or tea. Tv with Mnet, MM1, MM2, Sabc 1,2,3, Etv, SS1, SS2. No cooking allowed in the room please. Optional breakfast available (Book ahead). No braai area. No lounge, sitting area on the stoep of the house.

Honeymoon Room R360 per person per night. Bedroom with double bed and en-suite shower, bath and toilet. Bedding and towels provided. Please pack in extra swimming towels as the bath towels are not allowed for swimming. Small fridge and kettle with mugs for coffee or tea. Tv with Mnet, MM1, MM2, Sabc 1,2,3, Etv, SS1, SS2. No cooking allowed in the room please. Optional breakfast available. (Book ahead) No braai area. No lounge, sitting area on the stoep of the house.

Camping R440 per site per night (15 sites). The camping area is equipped with 220v power points. Rates include electricity. Maximum 2 vehicles per site provided there is adequate space left on the site. Please make sure that your caravan, vehicle, etc are parked inside the borders of your site. Only one caravan per site. Extra tents allowed. Do not use canvas which will damage grass. (Must have holes) Maximum 6 persons per site not including children 3 years and younger. Note: The campsites are about 500m from the chalets and safari tents.

Terms and Conditions
 
50% deposit (100% if booking is only for one night) due within 3 working days of this document to confirm booking.

Accommodation costs are fully prepaid on or before arrival. No cheques accepted. Cash, debit, visa, mastercard or diners only. The person who made the booking and receives these conditions agrees to inform all the members of his group of the conditions and accepts the responsibility to ensure that all the members conform to the stipulations thereof and is responsible of paying the account.

Unfortunately no day visitors, no music and no pets allowed.

Number of beds in unit equals the max amount of persons allowed.
Only children under 3 years not included.

Booking in time is from 2pm till 8pm.
Booking out time is 10am on day of departure.

Shop

There is a shop on resort which sells wood, ice, firelighters, cooldrinks, sweets, chips, bread and other basics. Mon - Thurs 08:00 - 18:30, Fri & Sat 08:00 - 20:00, Sun 08:00 - 14:00. Times may differ over long weekends.

Deposits / Breakage

There is a R200 fine for loss of key, so please remember to place keys in postbox outside the office on day of departure. Please ensure that any cutlery and crockery which is moved to another chalet or tent is returned as anything missing will be charged. Please take the opportunity to place some money in the postbox at the office if you break or lose any of our crockery.
Replacement costs for a cooldrink glass is R15 and a wineglass is R30. If you break anything else and are not sure what to pay, please contact us. We do not want to bring in a cover charge for breakages so please help us to avoid doing this.

General

Right of admission is reserved. Any person, who misbehaves himself to the judgement of the management or any of its staff members, has to leave the premises on request. No rude language and swearing allowed.

We do host weddings and functions on our resort. Music is allowed in the hall only till latest 24:00. Unfortunately we do not do quad trips on the farm anymore. The use of fireworks is STRICTLTY PROHIBITED. No quads bikes or scramblers allowed on the farm. The responsibility of proper supervision over babies, toddlers and children rests on the person in whose care they enter the resort. All facilities on the resort are used at own risk, especially the swimming pools and trampolines. Enquiries about activities must be done one week in advance to ensure that they are available at that time. Slanghoek Mountain Resort does not accept responsibility for any injuries or damage which may be a result of utilising the facilities or any other injuries or damage visitors may suffer at the resort. Visitors bring their belongings at own risk. The resort is not liable for the theft and loss thereof.

Visitors are requested to honour the tranquillity of the environment at all times and not to play music.
After 23:00 there must be silence in the resort.
