The Shamrock Arms Guest Lodge is unquestionably an ideal stopover for both the business and leisure traveler. It is situated 'more or less' half way between OR Tambo Airport (Johannesburg International Airport) and the Kruger National Park. This will be of particular interest to travellers arriving at the airport who are keen on the idea of getting some 'mileage' behind them on day one, so that the drive to the park the next day is not so daunting.

All of the rooms are elegantly furnished each with its own entrance and en-suite bathroom, DSTV (own decoder), air-conditioning, tea / coffee facility and electronic safe. You will have a choice of either a single bed (3/4 size) or a double bed (king or queen size). Enjoy the convivial banter in the Irish pub and the mesmerizing crackle of a log fire in the dining room on a winter's evening.

The wonderful thing about the Shamrock Arms is that it is the perfect base from which to explore many places of interest and scenic beauty in the Mpumalanga province. In and around Waterval Boven you can participate in various activities including trout / bass fishing, rock climbing and abseiling, mountain biking and hiking and horse riding.
