Sea Spray Cottages consists of 6 picturesque cottages which are all different in layout and design. The estate is situated just two streets up from Margate beach (walking distance less than 500 meters).
The cottages are all set on the side of a kopje and some of them have stunning sea views. Unit 1 is a double storey thatch cottage with 3 bedrooms which sleeps up to 10 persons (preferably 6 adults and 4 children). Another single storey thatch, unit 2, has private garden with braai, shady garden and child's swing. It has one bedroom with double bed and sleeps up to 6 persons in lounge. Unit 3 has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 7 persons. Unit 4 is reserved for owner. Unit 5 has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 6 persons. Unit 6 is a budget cottage, and consists of 1 bedroom with twin beds, shower and fully equipped kitchenette. Lovely sea view.
All the cottages are comfortably furnished, and all have satellite TV (DSTV) connections. Guests must just bring own decoder and smart card, otherwise these items can be hired from the local TV shop in Margate. Kitchenettes are fully equipped with everything one needs from microwaves, fridges with freezes, stoves, crockery and cutlery, to pots and pans. All cottages have sleeper couches in the lounges. Private braai (barbecue) facilities are also available at each cottage.
The estate has a lovely swimming pool and a huge lapa and comunual braai. The whole property is fenced off and walled with automatic gates at the entrance. Safe, on-site parking is available for the residents only. The estate's manager resides on the property. |
