| Rates are - quoted, invoiced and payable in ZAR - quoted per adult sharing per night - subject to a 50% supplement for rooms/tents occupied by one adult - inclusive of all meals, two games drives, selected beverages, return transfers between welcoming lounge & lodge, tourism levy and 14% vat - subject to change without prior notice * We recommend a minimum stay of two nights throughout the year Children Policy * This policy applies to all persons from 0 up to and including 11 years old * Persons from 12 years & older are considered as adults and will therefore require their own room/suite at the applicable rates * Persons under the age of 16 years are not permitted on any walking safaris * Children are accommodated at Gondwana Lodge only * Child rates are: - applicable whether children share a room with adults or not - inclusive of meals, non alcoholic beverages, activities (age dependant) and the 'Kids on Safari' program * 0 - 3 year old - are accommodated at no additional cost - may share with adults, depending on the availability of cots and/or rooms with a sleeper couch - are not permitted on game drives * 4 - 11 year old - are accommodated at 50% (half) of the adult sharing rate - may share with adults, depending on the availability of rooms with a sleeper couch - are permitted on game drives * Sleeper couches can accommodate a maximum of one child each * Cots can accommodate a maximum of one child per cot * Rooms accommodating children sharing with parents contains one sleeper couch per room * Child minding are done by lodge staff and can be arranged at an additional cost Travel Information Insurance * We highly recommend that travel insurance is taken out Transfers / Gate Times * Transfers can be arranged with reservations on request at additional costs * All transfers are handled by accredited car hire and charter companies * All transfers must be arranged prior to arrival * A complimentary transfer from the welcoming lounge to the different lodges is available on request and must be booked at least 72 hours in advance; please contact reservations in order to book these - arriving guests are picked up from the welcoming lounge at 12h30 or 16h00 (guests arriving on the later transfer will not be able to join the afternoon game drive) - departing guests are picked up from their lodge to be back at the welcoming lounge by 12h30 Payment * 25% Deposit will be required within 14 days of reservation being made * Balance will be required 30 days prior to arrival * Full pre payment will be required at time of booking for reservations made within 30 days of arrival Cancellations (Peak Season: 20 December - 10 January) * Only written cancellations will be accepted. Ensure to receive an acknowledgment of cancellations from reservations * 50% of fee if cancellation less than 60 days prior to arrival * 100% of fee if cancellation less than 30 days prior to arrival General * Only written cancellations will be accepted.
