Rose Cottage is a luxury self catering house and B&B situated in the sleepy holiday village at the Gariep Dam. It has 3 fully equipped rooms and two sleeper couches, that are neatly kept and they have new Simonz beds with fitted "ice white" linen. All of the rooms are equipped with modern Samsung air-conditioners, for those hot summers days. The cottage has a small swimming pool, lapa, braai (barbecue) facilities, beautiful rose garden and safe secure undercover parking.

The cottage is divided into three separate structures, one being a very modern self catering "granny flat" that sleeps 2, named "Rooibekkie" and the main guest house with 2 rooms and sleeper couch named "Hammerkop" that sleeps 8. There is also a new "Swallow" flat which sleeps 4 people. The units are fully equipped with colour TV's, tea / coffee making facilities and modern furniture. Each unit has a modern kitchen with various facilities including a stove, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine. All linen and towels are also supplied.

It is ideally positioned approximately halfway between Johannesburg and Cape Town and is suitable for either a single night stay over or for guests who would like to enjoy a longer stay while keeping busy with a variety of activities such as water sports, yachting and fishing. Whether you are going north or south on the N1, this is a must stay over place to break your journey and enjoy the crisp clean air of the Great Karoo. Guests are met at the Gariep Dam wall view point or the local "Shell Garage" by our local manager and escorted to Rose Cottage.
