DESCRIPTION:
 
Rietpoort is a Merino sheep farm situated 11km from the town of Trompsburg (120km south of Bloemfontein) on the N1 to Cape Town. This Southern Free State farm is also a game farm, and home to springbuck, blesbuck, black wildebeest and gemsbuck - all of which can be viewed. Your hostess, Isabel, is also a breeder of Marmoset and Cotton Top monkeys.

Experience the best of South African hospitality while staying in one of our luxury, fully equipped garden cottages equipped with TV, kitchenette, safe parking and braai (barbecue) facilities. All linen and towels are supplied. Enjoy the peaceful surrounds while you relax by the swimming pool or enjoy a game of tennis.

Guests can select various catering options, including a traditional South African braai (barbecue), as well as our delicious Karoo lamb dinner, prepared on request.

Self Catering: R170 pp - Bed only (Children under 12 - Half price)

Breakfast - English: R40 pp (Children under 12 - Half price)
Breakfast - Continental: R20 pp (Children under 12 - Half price)
Dinner: R60 pp (Children under 12 - Half price)

Deposit of R200 required.
The guest will be refunded the difference if the total cost of stay is less than R200.

DIRECTIONS:
 
From the N1 turn into Trompsburg. At the four-way stop turn left on the Phillippolis R717. Just outside town still on the R717 travel over the train bridge - the first off to right is the Jagersfontein R714. (Don't take the next turn-off to the right which is the S542). Travel another 10km, take the next turn to your right, and then we are on the left hand side.
