The Plaas Guest House is situated on a farm in extremely tranquil surroundings. The farm lies in a lovely, lush valley in the foothills of the Soutpansberg Mountain range.

The guest house recently attained its official four star grading from the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa. Your friendly hosts, Rita and Jan Joubert run and own the guest house and they will personally see to the comfort and satisfaction of your stay.

The accommodation is centrally placed in the extensive garden that surrounds the guest house. Huge old trees are the playground of the samango monkeys where they groom each other each other in the African sun. The azure sky, where the majestic crowned eagle floats, is indicative of the fresh mountain air. At night the hooting chatter of the wood owl puts you to sleep.

The guest house is centrally located close to Vendaland, called the "land of the legends", the northern bushveld region, the Kruger Park, hiking trails in Venda. It is also situated around Makhado (Louis Trichardt) and near most business centres in the northern part of the Limpopo (known as the province of "peace").
