Phumula Kruger Lodge offers luxury self catering, fully catered and bed & breakfast accommodation in Marloth Park, a proclaimed nature conservation holiday town sharing a common border (along the Crocodile River) with the Kruger National Park. Our luxury yet affordable accommodation is ideal for family holidays and for travellers en-route to the Kruger National Park, Mozambique and Swaziland. Marloth is conveniently located near the Kruger Park's Crocodile Bridge (Komatipoort) and Malelane entrance gates. Activities within Marloth include: bird watching, walking, game drives, etc. You can also view game from Marloth's lookout area which has panoramic views over the Crocodile River and into the Kruger Park. Although Marloth has no resident elephants, they can often be viewed while bathing in the Crocodile River. Various predators like lion and leopard can be seen from time to time. Other activities nearby Marloth include: self-guided game drives into the Kruger Park, professionally guided Kruger Park safaris, a round of golf at the Leopard Creek Golf Course, as well as adventurous elephant back safaris and tiger fishing safaris. Accommodation at the lodge is offered in the form of units consisting of 4 x thatched, traditional warm African luxury chalets. All accommodation is fully furnished and serviced. Each comprising of a double bed / bunk beds, bathrooms with shower and bath lounge, fully equipped kitchen with microwave, an outside patio and braai (barbecue) area. Meals are a choice of self catering, A'la carte menu, pub lunch or a braai (barbecue) in the Boma. The lodge also caters for all special occasions and conferences. |
