Location
Situated on the longest wine route in the world, and only fifteen kilometers from the pretty Boland town of Robertson in the Klaasvoogds foothills of the Langeberg Mountains. The Pat Busch Private Nature Reserve is only one and a half hours scenic drive from Cape Town and at the very start of Route 62. This private reserve is the very last establishment at the end of a road up in the fynbos covered mountains. Meander & explore our "World in One Valley" and discover the many wonders that our corner of the Boland has to offer from wine, fruit & stud estates, to tractor trips, game drives, boat cruises, health spas & wacky festivals.
Description
The Pat Busch Private Nature Reserve is nestled high up in the hilly folds of the Langeberg range. The outdoors person & nature lover will have a wonderful opportunity to explore our hidden valleys, kloofs & hills while admiring our 2000ha of spectacular mountain scenery. Our hiking trails will appeal to those interested in birds, small antelope and indigenous fauna and flora which form part of the Cape Floral Kingdom. The Langeberg is home to a large variety of Fynbos such as proteas & ericas and other species including lilies, ferns and indigenous trees in the kloofs. We also have a tough 4x4 route which is a grade 4 and should take 1-2 hours, or bring your mountain bike and explore the vineyards & orchards. Our mountain dams are stocked with bass for the enthusiastic angler, and for the adventurous swimming is allowed. Alternatively use us as a base to explore the Boland when wine tasting from estate to estate, playing golf, canoeing on the Breede or any other local activities.
