There are four lovely cottages on the premises all of which are near a small dam stocked with bass fish for a catch and release. Have a picnic underneath the lovely old willow tree next to the dam - sharing wine with friends.

Oudewerf is also very popular with parents who are visiting their children at the varsity. Post graduates enjoy the place because of the proximity to the university. International athletes also stay at Oudewerf because of nearby training facilities at the university. This is the ideal place for overseas visitors who to visit South Africa!
