Oranje Guest Farm is a 1 200 hectare working cattle farm set amongst the beautiful mountains of the eastern Free State, near the border of Lesotho.

The farm is situated 14km from Fouriesburg and 20km from Clarens on the R711 - the most picturesque route in South Africa. The establishment provides an ideal setting for a wedding, special occasion or just a break-away for a few days in a valley, created by the Maluti Mountains on the one side and the Rooi (Red) Mountains on the other side. Sandstone cliffs coloured by nature in hues of tan, yellow, brown, black, with the late afternoon sun add a spectacular orange glow on the majestic sandstone rock cliffs.

The stately homestead for the guests and renovated sandstone barn for functions were built when the cost of building, time and space were not a consideration, and craftsmanship was still a matter of pride. The rondavel and sophisticated spacious bedrooms all have their own entrance, television, electric blanket, safe, hairdryer, heater and hospitality tray. Log fires are lit during the winter months. With its panoramic view, the verandah is an ideal place for braai's (barbeques) or sundowners. Activities on the farm range from fishing, to mountain climbing and hiking. Conferences and weddings for up to 180 guests can be catered for.
