Information about Ndiza Lodge & Cabanas
 
Ndiza Lodge offers luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation and the Cabanas offer self catering accommodation. A panoramic view of the Indian Ocean, the estuary and the famous Lake St Lucia sets Ndiza Lodge apart from all the other lodges as it has two very unique views.

Relax in the hospitality bar, challenge your friends to a game of pool, cool down in the splash pool on the raised viewing deck, enter the tranquil garden with a walkway deep into the wetland itself, enjoy a sundowner, or simply experience true tranquility whilst enjoying spectacular views!

All the rooms in the lodge are en-suite and equipped with tea / coffee making facilities, a refrigerator, mini bar and snacks, a TV, hairdryers and air-conditioned. Rooms have private and direct access to it's own patio with furniture, access to the main tropical garden and stairway access to the deck in the heart of the wetlands. Delicious breakfasts are served on the upper deck overlooking the ocean, Maphelane, the Umfolozi river mouth and part of lake St Lucia estuary. From this deck Ndiza's guests will be the first to see the whales make their way to the warmer Mozambican waters! The raised wooden deck also has a built in braai with rotiserie that guests are most welcome to use.

The self catering units consist of one or two bedroom units. All units are fully equipped and serviced daily. Apart from the bedroom/s the units have a bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen and dining area, lounge with TV, private garden with furniture and braai facilities as well as parking for your car right in front of your cabana. Additional double sleeper couch available in each unit. Bath towels supplied. There is also a swimming pool available for the cabana guests. Cabana guests are most welcome to enjoy the facilites of the lodge. A second swimming pool and lapa with built in braai is available next to the cabanas.

St. Lucia provides a wealth of experiences including deep sea and estuary boat trips, seasonal whale and turtle watching, Eastern shores excursions, hiking trails, bird watching, scuba diving and snorkeling, visits to the game reserves and the Crocodile Centre are worthwhile pursuits. Location   153 Hornbill Street, St Lucia, KwaZulu-Natal

Entering St Lucia cross over the bridge and turn right into McKenzie Street (main Street in St Lucia). Follow this road until you find the fruit and veggie sellers on your right hand side. Directly opposite them, turn left into Dolphin Street. At the 3rd intersection, turn right into Hornbill Street. You will find Ndiza about 700m further on your left hand side.

I would like to thank you for all the help to set up the perfect setting for Shane, he was truly blown away with everything. Your house is beyond breathtaking, everything was beautiful, and the rooms so tastefully decorated. Leona was an absolute darling, and you were right when you said she would take care of everything, she really did go the extra mile & make sure everything was perfect. We had a wonderful memorable holiday, we got 5 star treatment & felt like royalty, Ndiza is truly a gorgeous place!
