DESCRIPTION:

On the road between Vryheid and Paulpietersberg on the Battlefields Route, you come upon an oasis and a haven of peace, the Natal Spa. This resort is famed for its hot mineral waters, it has been in existence since the late 19th century. Set on 800 hectares of KwaZulu-Natal bushveld, the Natal Spa has access to about four kilometers of the Bivane River flowing through the property. You will certainly find peace and quiet in the tranquil surroundings, the only sounds being the birds, the rushing of the river and the rustle of the tall trees which abound in the garden and beyond.

The hotel has 46 large en-suite bedrooms and 20 self catering units which include family suites and thatched cottages. Each room has a TV offering 6 channels including M-Net and tea / coffee making facilities. The hotel includes an airy dining room, the feature being an enormous rock with lovely views of the garden and pool areas. Buffet breakfasts and a' la carte dinners are served. During the day enjoy light meals, refreshments and snacks ordered from the coffee shop situated on the large patio. The Raptors Restaurant is the cosy bar which is open from 10h00 until late in the evenings.

There is a great 110m long super tube available for the kiddies alongside the heated swimming pools, so parents can keep an eye on the young ones. The resort has three well equipped conference / function venues, seating between 10 - 120 delegates which makes the Natal Spa & Conference Centre an ideal conference getaway destination. A caravan park and camping sites are also on the premises. Campers and self catering patrons have access to the hotel's facilities, but what bliss it must be to braai (barbecue) and sit under the trees and just relax!
