DESCRIPTION:

Enjoy the rugged beauty and tranquillity of the Cederberg Mountains at Mount Ceder, the southern entrance to the Cederberg conservancy. Wake up to the calls of numerous birds and take a stroll through fynbos veld, with a chance to see baboons, klipspringer, grysbok and many others of the elusive smaller mammals.

Self cater and relax on the veranda of your very own cottage, as the evening draws nigh, to the calls of the night jars and the occasional owl, or dine out at the Old Millhouse restaurant, where you can enjoy mouth watering, farm style meals.

With the perennial Grootrivier flowing through the property, providing clear river pools in which to swim, rock art for the culturally interested and hiking trails for the more energetic, we have much to offer.

In addition to all this, we are also within easy driving distance of other Cederberg attractions, such as the Stadsaal Caves and Truitjies Kraal, The Cederberg wine cellar, and the Ceder Tree nursery at Matjiesrivier.
