Mountainview Inn is set in the tranquil surroundings of the Bergview Complex on the N3, overlooking the magnificent Platberg Mountain. This makes it the ideal stopover and the combination of old fashioned values, cleanliness, courtesy, beauty and modern day technologies ensures an enjoyable stay.
There are 45 en-suite rooms all equipped with air-conditioners, heaters, TV's with 12 channels as well as undercover parking facilities outside each room. The caravan park has 30 stands all with power points, 30 tent stands and state of the art ablutions, all surrounded by electric fence. Conference facilities and bar hosting up to 80 persons.
Guests have a choice of breakfast either at the award winning Wimpy, Spur, Ocean Basket and the adjacent coffee shop Heikes Place. A host of facilities are available to the guests including a petrol station, shops, conference facilities, a la carte restaurant, a variety of food outlets as well as an animal park. Sporting facilities are available in and around Harrismith and there are many places of interest such as the Sterkfontein Dam, Basotho Cultural Village, Retief's Monument and the Golden Gate National Park. |
