Mooiplaas Guest House is set on a private ostrich farm in the hills just outside Oudtshoorn. Owners Viljee and Hanlie Keller invite you to relax and unwind in the comfort and tranquility of their luxury 4-star guest house, and to enjoy their caring hospitality as you fall under the magic and charm of the Klein Karoo.
We have 4 different suite types, superior / honeymoon suites, family suites, luxury double and self catering suites. All have separate entrances, are large and spacious and have en-suite bathrooms. From your suite's patio or balcony, you can enjoy the magnificent panoramic view of the Swartberg Mountains and Oudtshoorn.
Our dining room offers fine local cuisine and serves a full breakfast (included in the rate), picnic baskets, four or two course dinner menu. Mooiplaas are fully licensed. At night we light up the evening torches that give a warm glow to the evening atmosphere and we turn down your bed with a little surprise. Stargazing on clear sky nights, are spectacular and the guided ostrich tour in the morning after breakfast, are all very much enjoyed by all our guests!
