Montagu Guesthouse offers comfortable accommodation in self catering units fit for businessmen, sales representatives or couples / small families, in a centrally located environment.
We have two garden flats with en-suite bathroom facilities which can accommodate two people each, and another twin room cottage that can accommodate up to four people. The units are fully equipped with various facilities, including bar fridges, microwaves, heaters, fans and TV's.
The guest house caters for the self catering enthusiast, who wants to spend more money on enjoying his stay than his accommodation. We are centrally situated in George, close to good shops and famous restaurants, but located in a suburban area. The establishment is also within walking distance from KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) and a mini Pick 'n Pay supermarket.

Proceed along the main road into George CBD (Central Business District), keep left at the circle / split. Proceed along Knysna / Courtenay Road in the direction of Knysna. Cross next circle, turning left just past KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) into Mitchell Street. We are situated on the left hand side, at No. 139.
From Cape Town
From N2 highway, take York Street off-ramp, and turn left towards George. Proceed up into York Street until you reach a circle / T-junction, and then turn right into Courtenay Street. Turn left into Mitchell Street, just past the KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken). We are situated on the left hand side at No. 139.
From Knysna
Proceed along Knysna Road into George, drive past the Outeniqua High School on your right hand side and then turn right into Mitchell Street. We are situated on the left hand side at No. 139.
