Monate is an oasis of peace and tranquillity, situated on the divide of the Waterberg and Springbok flats. Monate is home to leopard, cheetah, buffalo, hippo, rhino, giraffe and a large variety of antelope. Being close to the Nylsvlei Nature Conservancy, home to 46% of the bird species in Southern Africa, birding is prolific on the reserve with many new sightings reported.

Set amidst beautiful gardens, the recently refurbished Monate suites and rooms offer an opportunity to indulge in time spent in a peaceful and relaxing environment. Ideal for Executives and Honeymooners are the Hampton and Rushton Lodges, decorated with a sophisticated blend of both Chinese and Colonial antiques, each with open access to a private sundeck and pool, oozing complete luxury in an environment where pampering and attention to detail is absolute. Comfort cuisine is offered in true African style using locally sourced ingredients and venison and vegetarian dishes are just some of our specialities. To compliment our fine fare, all meals are served in different settings and the evenings are an elegant affair around an open boma fire, creating a romantic experience to be remembered.

Situated close to the Lodge, the discerning delegate can enjoy the tranquillity of the bush whilst conducting business in a conducive atmosphere.
