This charming stone-built complex, which was originally a monastery, has been tastefully converted into a romantic hotel that embodies the ethos of Africa. Set in lush landscaped gardens, surrounded by natural forest and grassland, this rustic retreat serves as the perfect African getaway destination.
Accommodation comprises 209 stone-built thatched rooms, including four royal and two presidential suites. The hotel has 23 uniquely African conference / events venues including a spa conferencing facility. In keeping with local market demand, Misty Hills will offer combined conference and exhibition facilities. The new air-conditioned centre is ideally be suited for small to medium sized events. The exhibition centre covers an area of a 1000 square metres. It will comfortably accommodate 55 exhibitor stands and the configuration is adaptable in design to suit individual requirements.
The Boma Restaurant has recently been revamped with stunning roofed-in area, accommodating up to 200 people and offering uniquely African ambience for relaxed informal buffets and braai's (barbecues), or more formal functions, around a central fire. The Carnivore, in partnership with Misty Hills, has launched 9 conference venues. This truly African concept is guaranteed to excite even the most seasoned conference goers.
