DESCRIPTION:
 
Melville B&B and Guest House was originally built in approximately 1912. The house has a lot of historical background as the son of Gen. Koos de la Rey lived here till his death, at the age of 47.The house was then sold, new owners took over.

The establishment has 7 beautifully decorated rooms in total, we offer 5 rooms, 3 of which are en-suite. All the rooms have DSTV, fans, heaters and coffee / tea making facilities. There is a communal lounge and cosy dining room with a fireplace. Supper and laundry facilities can be arranged on request.

The various tourist attractions and landmarks situated near the guest house include Lichtenburg Motor Racetrack, the Barberspan Bird Sanctuary, Wondergat, the Agriculture Museum and the Bakerville Diamond Fields.
