Mbewa Cabins is situated just off the N4 Platinum highway, approximately 15km from Zeerust in the heart of the Marico bushveld. It is a convenient stop over for travellers, tourists and families en-route to the Okavango Delta in Botswana and the fishing waters of Namibia. It is also excellent for a quiet breakaway from city life for a relaxing weekend.

Accommodation consists of one (1) fully equipped self catering two bedroom chalet, sleeping up to five (5) as well as three (3) chalets, each with coffee / tea station, fridge and en-suite bathroom, sleeping two (2). The chalets are also equipped with heaters, electric blankets and fans. Accommodation units are located around the swimming pool and private braai / lapa area under lush shady trees. Meals and picnic lunches are available by prior arrangement.

We are located on a private farm with walking trails, game viewing and bird watching available on-site. A tranquil bushveld environment with the most beautiful sunsets and with total privacy guaranteed. Major attractions such as Sun City, Pilansberg National Park, the Madikwe Game Reserve and the well know Marico with its vibrant history (Herman Charles Bosman) are conveniently located within a 130km radius. The Botswana border is approximately 100km away.

Affordable rates available for businessmen who prefer a nature experience rather than staying in town.

From Pretoria or Johannesburg

Take the N4 via Rustenburg and Swartruggens towards Zeerust.
Exactly 48km after the Swartruggens Toll Plaza turn right onto the Riekertsdam Road (gravel road).
After exactly 1.3km on the Riekertsdam Road turn left at the "Mbewa Cabins" signboard.
Follow road for approx. 1.5km until you reach entrance (stone pillars).

From Lichtenburg or Mafikeng

From Lichtenburg or Mafikeng drive to towards Zeerust. Continue through Zeerust on the N4 towards Swartruggens.
approx. 14km outside Zeerust turn left at the Riekertsdam turn-off (Orange Mbewa Cabins signboard).
After exactly 1.3km on the Riekersdam Road turn left at the "Mbewa Cabins" signboard.
Follow road for approx. 1.5km until you reach entrance (stone pillars).

Overall : 100 Location: Thumbs Up! Mbewa Cabins has everything to offer in the way of amenities in the bosveld in tranquil surroundings, with the opportunity of a nature trail, easy travel to Pilansberg, Madikwe, Botswana but to mention a few. Attention to detail and hospitality abound and the lapa facilities were brilliant.
