Hanel & Schalk would like to extend this welcome by inviting you to stay at our lovely guest house, situated on the white sandy beaches of Gordon's Bay. Manor on the Bay offers a unique character, lovely ambience and friendly people making sure you have a most comfortable stay.
The Manor provides luxury accommodation in all 12 en-suite bedrooms with bed and breakfast, or self catering options available. Disabled friendly rooms, interleading family rooms, in-house massage facility as well as a conference room are available. Breakfast is served at the swimming pool or in the dining room. A snack menu is available throughout the day, and dinner is available on request. There are also braai (barbecue) facilities available to guests. Manor on the Bay's air-conditioned conference venue can accommodate up to 22 people, seated in a Board Room Style, and 25 people in Cinema Style. We are able to accommodate two groups in breakaway sessions. More groups can be accommodated if the weather permits, since our gardens offer an ideal place to brainstorm creative ideas.
Its close proximity to Cape Town, the Winelands and over 16 golf courses provides an excellent base fromwhere these truly unique Western Cape attractions can be experienced. A mere 40 minutes drive from Cape Town, Manor on the Bay offers clients from the Mother City economic traveling, with an inspiring and refreshing day away from the city in return. Quality restaurants are within walking distance and golf courses, hiking trails, shopping malls and more white beaches are easily accessible. Horse riding, scuba diving, picnic baskets and sunset cruises can be arranged for on request. Whale watching from our patio is possible between the months of August and November.

To confirm your reservation we require your credit card details or a bank deposit of 50% of the accommodation.
Payment Details
A 50% deposit is required to confirm reservation.
Full payment is required on arrival.
All remittances are payable in South African Rands.
Any alternative arrangements must be made with Schalk or Hanél.

Please confirm when booking.
Take the N2 turn off to your left, just outside the airport - direction Somerset West. Stay on the N2 for about 25 min (through Somerset West). Take the turn off to your right which indicates Gordon's Bay, R44, Kleinmond. This is the last turn off before you start the climb up Sir Lowry Pass. (Make sure not to take the R 44, Strand turn-off.)
In Gordon's Bay
Carry on with that road until you get to a T-junction (facing a fish & chips café). Turn right and immediately left into Sir Lowry road. Carry on until you get to another T-junction where you turn left into Beach Road. You'll have the sea on your right. Carry on for 500m. Passed the Van Riebeeck Hotel , up a small hill, passed a little church on your left. Manor on the Bay is about 150m from the church , on your left. A black and white board with our logo will indicate the guest house. Go up the ramp and you'll find the security gates where we'll open up for you. Lookout for the 2 big palm trees in our garden.

Follow the N2 down Sir Lowry's Pass. Take the R44, Kleinmond, Gordon's Bay turn-off to your left. This is the first turn-off at the bottom of the pass. Follow: In Gordon's Bay (above)
From Stellenbosch
Take the R310 from Stellenbosch, direction Somerset West. Take the first turn-off for the N2, George (just before the Somerset Mall). Stay on the N2 for about 10 min (through Somerset West). Take the turn-off to your right which indicates Gordon's Bay, R44, Kleinmond. This is the last turn off before you start the climb up the Sir Lowry Pass.
