At Manaar House, visitors have the choice of bed and breakfast accommodation or the self catering option. All the B&B bedrooms are luxuriously appointed with air-conditioning, telephones, internet facilities and individual satellite TV. Each room has a full en-suite bathroom (separate bath and shower) and is equipped with a mini bar fridge and tea / coffee making facilities. All the units have their own private entrance.

There are two self catering units at Manaar House. The large, luxury apartment can comfortably sleeps four people with a double sleeper couch downstairs for an additional guest. The apartment is air-conditioned and is also fitted with ceiling fans throughout. There is a DSTV decoder for satellite TV in the unit with a TV set downstairs and one upstairs as well. The apartment is equipped with telephones and free WiFi internet access. The kitchen is well appointed and fully equipped. The second self catering studio unit is smaller and consists of a double bedroom (King-size bed or 2 twin beds on request), en-suite bathroom (shower only). It has a fully equipped kitchen with under counter oven, hob and microwave. Satellite TV, a telephone and internet facilities are also provided. Apartments are serviced daily and a laundry and ironing service is provided at a small additional cost. Should you wish to spoil yourself, breakfast can be prepared for you and enjoyed on the patio by the pool. The swimming pool and jacuzzi area is for the exclusive use of guests. Secure, under cover parking is available for guest's vehicles.

Manaar House is a two minute drive away from the beautiful beaches of Umhlanga. There are several fine restaurants in the village of Umhlanga or at Gateway Shopping Centre. The International Conference Centre (ICC) and King Shaka International Airport are a twenty minute drive away by car. A first world hospital is a five minute drive away. There are several world class golf courses in the immediate vicinity.

Heading north on the N2:

Take the M41 off ramp (Exit 181) (Umhlanga / Mount Edgecombe / Phoenix North) Turn right (over the freeway) and continue for about 1 km, passing Gateway Shopping Centre on your left. Take the M12 (Umhlanga Rocks Drive) off ramp and continue north passing McDonalds & Umhlanga Hospital on your left. At the next traffic circle, take Herwood Drive. Continue past the Sharks Board for about 2 km. Turn right into Campbell Drive & continue down the road until you see Atholton Primary School on your right. Turn right into Kingston Drive and then take the first turn left into Manaar Road - Number 16 Manaar Road

Heading south on the N2 from King Shaka International Airport:

Take the M41 off ramp (Exit 181) (Umhlanga / Mount Edgecombe / Phoenix North) At the traffic lights turn left onto the M41  and continue for about 1 km, passing Gateway Shopping Centre on your left. After passing under the Millenium Bridge take the M12 (Umhlanga Rocks Drive) off-ramp and continue north passing McDonalds & Umhlanga Hospital on your left. At the next traffic circle, take Herwood Drive. You will see the Sharks Board on your left. Continue for about 2 km. Turn right into Campbell Drive & continue down the road until you see Atholton Primary School on your right. Turn right into Kingston Drive and then take the first turn left into Manaar Road - Number 16 Manaar Road

Heading north on the M4:

Continue north bound passing the Umhlanga off-ramp. About 50 meters further on, take the Portland Drive turn off. Keep left and the road dog legs and becomes Campbell Drive. Go up Campbell Drive and take the first turn left into Kingston Drive. Take the first turn left into Manaar Road - Number 16 Manaar Road.
