We look forward to offering you the ideal bush break, for the real nature lover. Magalies Bush Lodge is situated in the beautiful Naauwpoort valley of the Magaliesberg. We offer comfortable fully equipped self catering chalets. (The chalets are not serviced). Each chalet has a private boma / braai (barbecue). Come and relax whilst enjoying magnificent views amongst the jackal's cry.

Magalies Bush Lodge has blesbok, black wildebeest, and red hartebeest. The lodge also has a wonderful variety of birdlife, about 115 different species spotted to date. Leisure activities include game walks, bird watching and 4x4 track challenges. Guests may also practice their fishing skills and their catch and release techniques. (provided there is water in the dams). Enjoy a bicycle ride or a relaxing swim at the pool that is equipped with a lovely braai (barbecue) area. There is also a play area at the swimming pool for the children. We also have various sporting facilities like a volleyball / basketball court, badminton, a phoofie slide, and a small shooting range.

Leisure activities within area include horse riding, mountain trials, curio and gift shops, tea gardens, cheese factories, candle dipping, canopy riding, hot air balloon rides, hand crafted furniture factories, and the oldest gold mine in Gauteng. A big 5 game reserve, Sun city and Maropeng are all located approximately 80km away from the lodge. Bush tranquility, affordability and personal service are always provided by your friendly host and hostess Kevin and Marcelle.
