Madikwena Game Farm & Crocodile Ranch, is situated only 1 (one) hours drive away from Sun City. The crocodile ranch has 450 breeder crocodiles and 3000 growing crocodiles. Visit the Croc-Inn a licensed pub & restaurant, which overlooks the natural crocodile breeding dam.
The activities on the farm include game viewing, bird watching, cycling and hiking. More than 430 species of birdlife have been noted in the area. The various wildlife on the farm include steenbuck, duikers, eland, wildebees, impala, warthog, kudu, blesbuck, jackals, zebra, giraffe, ostrich,brown hyena and baboons. We also have smaller interesting mammals including porcupines, aardvark, mongoose and squirrels.
Accommodation at the game farm consists of two beautifully decorated, fully equipped luxury self catering chalets. The Nyala and Kudu chalets have two bedrooms and one bathroom. Bedrooms are fitted with two three quarter beds. Open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen. Step out onto a large covered patio, with braai (barbecue) overlooking the quiet bush. The farm also offers a rustic tented camp. It can accommodate 16 people and is canopied by camel thorn trees.
