Nestled between the mountains on the eastern escarpment of Mpumalanga, your hosts Arthur and Drinie Alant wish to welcome you to this convenient and yet charming luxury country accommodation, 4km off the Maputo Corridor (N4), and two and a half hours from Johannesburg.

The 3 luxury self catering cottages are situated in delightfully manicured gardens, and offer a panoramic view over the rolling hills, valleys and forests. "Fairview Cottage" (sleeps max. 4) - 2 en-suite bedrooms; "Misty Morns" (sleeps max. 6) - 3 en-suite bedrooms; and "Eagle's Call" (sleeps max. 10) - 5 en-suite bedrooms. The cottages are fully equipped and are serviced twice daily by our friendly staff. Log fires blaze in the cosy lounges during cool and misty evenings. Each cottage has its own private braai (barbecue) facility and we supply the wood and charcoal.

Flyfishing for rainbow, golden and brown trout is available on our private waters. 7 weirs in the Swartkoppies stream and 11 dams offer discerning flyfishermen a paradise. Float tubes and kick boats are welcome, and fly tackle is available for hire. Flyfishing, hiking and mountain biking affords one the opportunity to appreciate the prolific bird and animal life. In the surrounding area other activities can be enjoyed such as: Horse riding / horse trails (5km), steam train rides (15km), rock climbing (15km), paragliding (5km), hiking trails, historical buildings and structures, caves, as well as the Kruger National Park (120km).
