Mabalingwe Country Club covers 1200 hectares of malaria free true African bushveld. We consider ourselves a nature reserve first and a country club second. Boasting over 450 animals on our property and home to over 20 species of African mammals including, to name a few, giraffe, zebra, eland, kudu, gemsbok, nyala, impala, red hartebeest, blue wildebeest, warthog, bushpig and many, many more. Mabalingwe Nature Reserve, one of our partners, is situated adjacent to our property and boasts over 12000 hectares of African bushveld with the "Big 5" animals. We can offer you a drive on the reserve where it is very common to encounter elephant, rhino, hippo, as well as most of the antelope species found throughout Africa. Your safari experience through our two reserves will be a memorable one - guaranteed.
The game reserve is a bird watcher’s paradise, with in excess of over 250 species of birds. The golf course, 10 dams and the completion of our bird sanctuary, which encompasses a marsh land area with two islands, all adds to the natural habitat to attract additional bird species to our reserve. We have also erected four elevated bird hides adjacent to our Python Dam, over six hectares of surface water, which will enhance your birding experience. The secretary bird, martial eagle, fish eagle, ostriches, plovers, pied kingfisher, ducks and geese, francolins, guineas, rollers and grey louries are just a small list of the species you can spot in the reserve. A five star golf course situated in the Africa bushveld, consists of 5 target greens with bunkers and 5000 square meters of hitting area. In addition it has four separate practice greens to perfect your chipping and bunker play as well as your putting.
Luxurious accommodation is provided at lodge No. 10 located at Zebula Country Club & Spa. This spacious house has 4 en-suite bedrooms, one outside room and can accommodate 8 adults and 2 children. Various facilities available at the house include air-conditioning, satellite TV (DSTV), cosy living areas, fireplaces, a fully equipped kitchen and braai (barbecue) facilities. Guests can enjoy their sundowners on the wooden deck as they admire the spectacular sunsets!

Paying for your booking
In order to secure your booking, you will need to pay a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total accommodation cost by electronic transfer. The deposit is non-refundable. On receipt of the deposit, we will send your written confirmation to you as soon as reasonably possible showing your booking details and the balance of the total accommodation cost which must be received by us no later than 45 days before your arrival date at the property. However, if you book less than 45 days before your arrival date, payment of your total accommodation cost must be paid at the time of booking and on receipt of full payment we will send your written confirmation to you.
Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your booking, you must immediately confirm your cancellation in writing. Regardless of your reasons for canceling your booking, a cancellation charge will be payable. The cancellation charge is based on the number of days before your arrival date at the property that we receive notification of your cancellation, as shown in the text below. This means that if you have paid the balance of your total holiday cost and then wish to cancel, you may receive a refund of part of such cost. However, if you have not paid your total holiday by the time of your cancellation, you may be required to make a further payment by way of cancellation charge.
Cancellation Charges
60 - 45 days prior to arrival, forfeit 10% value of the booking.
45 - 15 days prior to arrival, forfeit 50% value of the booking.
14 - 3 days prior to arrival, forfeit 80% value of the booking.
2 - 0 days prior to arrival, forfeit 100% value of the booking.

Please confirm when booking.
At the roundabout, turn left and drive for approximately 35km passing the Mabalingwe Game Reserve on your right. Then turn right at the tar road on your right that says "Rooiberg" and with a large Zebula sign on the corner of the turn-off. Drive for approximately 4km and turn right at the Zebula sign and then travel for 5km down the newly tarred road. The Zebula Country Club & Spa will be on your right hand side. Follow the signs to the club house.
