Little Forest is set in the most beautiful surrounds with rolling lawns to a fully stocked trout dam and swimming pool on the water's edge. Little Forest is in the beautiful Balgowan Valley, behind the renowned Bosch Hoek Golfing Estate, and in the heart of the Midlands Meander.

Accommodation consists of three self catering cottages. The Malachite Cottage (honeymoon cottage), is set at the deep end of the dam. This has a beautiful en-suite bedroom with a fully fitted kitchenette that has a breakfast bar and a living room equipped with satellite TV (DSTV). The Sandpiper Cottage (family cottage), this is situated at the shallow end of the dam and overlooks the swimming pool on the trout dam edge. The cottage can sleep 6 guests and it has a fully fitted kitchen, dining room and living room with satellite TV (bring your own smart card) and has 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom is en-suite and there is another bathroom which is shared by the other 2 rooms. The Deep End Cottage (perfect for one couple), is situated at the end of the trout dam and is spacious and beautifully decorated with a galley type kitchen and French doors opening onto a large patio overlooking the dam. The bedroom also has French doors opening onto this patio. The bathroom has a shower, basin and loo. This cottage has an entrance from a garage as well and is also wheelchair friendly. The cottage has full satellite TV (DSTV) facilities. All the cottages have their own weber braais (barbecues), and are also serviced daily.

Guests can bring their binoculars along, to observe the amazing birdlife. There are 2 rowing boats available for guests use and a paddle ski, on the dam. Little Forest is a long established sport horse stud farm, where you can view future champions in their home environment. The chalets are situated close to many great restaurants and beautiful wedding venues. We will assist with any reservations which you may require and advise on local events and attractions including the Vintage Steam, Midmar Mile, Comrades Marathon, Springvale and Sierra Ranch Horse Trials, Howick Falls and hot air ballooning. Little Forest is truly a magical destination!
